Is Cub Scouting Right for You?

Do you know any boys that are going into kindergarten through fifth grade that like the outdoors, building things with their hands, want to help in their community, or just want to hang out with other boys their age? Cub scouting might be a fit for them. If you want more information please go to the Contact Us page and send us a message. We will answer any questions you might have and can help you get sign up if interested.

Scout Earns Super Nova

On Tuesday, Jan 27 Matthew Sharp, a Webelos II from Cub Scout Pack 85 received the Supernova Award. This award is given to a scout for his work with the Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) program. Matthew is only the second scout to receive this honor in the PA Dutch Council. He has been working for months with a mentor on the different projects involved which used and expanded his knowledge in all the STEM categories. He earned all four Nova awards before he completed the Supernova. Congratulations Matthew!

At All Pack Meetings:
Please come to the meeting with your uniforms.

Blue Pack 85 "Class B" t-shirts will be available for purchase for $6 each for all boys and adults who would like them.

Pack Hats will also be available for $8

  • This year Pack 85 is conducting one required fundraiser and two optional fundraisers.  For the required fundraiser we will be selling Gianni’s Pizza and Other Baked Goods.  Each scout will be required to sell at least $200 of product.  In lieu of selling at least $200 of product, we will give the option to sell at least $100 of product and provide a buyout donation of $30 or sell no product and provide a buyout donation of $60.  If you have more than one scout in the Pack you do not need to sell or donate for each scout.  Only one sale or buyout donation is required per family.

For the two optional fundraisers, we will be selling Trail’s End Gourmet Popcorn in the fall and subs in the spring. All the profits from each individual scouts sales for these two optional fundraisers will be credited to the scout to help defray the cost of summer camp.
